This is the E-Book Sales Funnel

The purpose of this funnel is twofold: to build your marketing list, and to make big ticket sales on the back end by providing an inexpensive value offer up front.

This is accomplished in 4 parts.

Part 1

Part 1 directs traffic from ads, blogs, and keyword targeting to your free or inexpensive e-book as a lead magnet. From there they are sent your e-book by email and then marketed to and value ramped onto a more expensive sale.

Part 2

Part 2 is a sales page aimed at converting e-book traffic, as well as any existing qualified leads you have in your mailing list into customers of your premium product or service.

Part 3

From your sales page they are taken to part 3, where, if done right, you can gain a lot of potential revenue through your order process by the way of offering an upsell and a downsell to your existing product. When a customer gets here in the funnel, you likely have a solid connection with them and offering them an upgrade makes sense, especially because it adds direct value to what they have already purchased. but if they don't want that upgrade you can offer a smaller downsell to still give them more value in their order at a slightly lower price.

Part 4

Part 4 is the order confirmation and email, where you show all of their order details and thank them for doing business with you. In addition, you tag them to market to later, as they are most likely to be glad to receive offers from you in the future if this order is successful.

Those are the 4 parts of the e-book funnel. Download this template into your MarketPlan account today and begin converting your visitors into highly motivated customers.
