This is the onboarding funnel.

The purpose of this funnel is to guide new customers into deeper levels of engagement with your product, app, or service. If your business requires some explanation to take full advantage of, onboarding is absolutely essential so users can experience the true value of what you offer.

There are two key parts of this funnel.

Part 1

Part one is an in depth email sequence that is triggered upon purchase of your product or service. Once your new users are tagged they are immediately engaged through email, where you communicate the most important “must have” information to educate and encourage your users into getting the most out of your product or service.

Part 2

While this is ongoing, they are also introduced to part two: your members or in app area where you engage users through proactive popups and messages, checklists, walkthroughs, etc. Then depending on how engaged users are to your messages you can segment them accordingly to either nurture, or target later for more exclusive offers and content.
